Most yoga mats are made of PVC—a petroleum-derived plastic that releases chemicals when heated during exercise. Hamsa mats are made exclusively from natural rubber, harvested from Hevea trees, and woven jute—the same fiber used in Indian textiles for centuries. No synthetic coatings. No petroleum. Just two materials that have stood the test of time for generations.
